1月11日（木）都内ホテルにて、2006年12月31日（日）大阪・京セラドームで開催されたTBS/MBS/FEG主催『K-1 PREMIUM 2006 Dynamite!!』での秋山成勲（フリー）VS桜庭和志（フリー）戦に関する記者会見が行われた。
試合中に桜庭が「（秋山の足が）滑る！」と何度も抗議、秋山がオイル類を足に塗っていたとの疑惑が掛けられ、その後はグローブが左右同じものではなかった（右手側にスポンサーのロゴが入っていなかった）、グローブの大きさが違うなどファンからも次々と疑惑が浮上した。試合後には桜庭サイドから正式な文書で異議申し立てがあり、レフェリー・ジャッジを含めてのミーティング調査が行われ、この日の発表となったもの。
試合の裁定はノーコンテストとなった。秋山が市販のスキンクリームを塗っていたことを認め、TBSのTVカメラで撮られた映像にも塗っていた場面が確認できたために秋山は“失格”処分、ファイトマネーは全額没収となった。
スキンクリームについては、秋山は元々「乾燥肌」でそれを防ぐために普段から使用しているものだった。秋山は使用が禁止されているタイオイルやワセリンの類いではないため、塗っても大丈夫という認識で使用していたという。今回、クリームの成分を調べたところ脂分が入っていたことが確認され、また、HERO'Sルールでは試合前に体に何かを塗るという行為自体が反則となるため、“失格”となった。
ただ、TBSが撮影したVTRでの秋山サイドの会話を確認したところ、悪意があって塗っている感じはしなかったため“過失”と判断され、故意ではなかったという判断が下されている。
試合前にチェックをしたにも関わらず、これを見逃した審判団にも何らかの処分が下されることにもなった。
また、同時に指摘されていたグローブに関しては、「ロゴがはがれやすいもの」だったためウォーミングアップ中に剥がれ落ちたと判断された。試合後に回収したグローブをチエックしたところ、試合前に渡したものと同じであったことが確認されている。

Al principio dudaba y estaba convencido q lo de la crema fue una disculpa pero tras ver el video, se ve claramente a sakuraba consciente y hablando diciendole al arbitro cosas (segun ponen debajo en el video se quejaba de que akiyama estaba embadurnado de crema). Asi que ahora estoy convencido de que akiyama fue un tramposo y se merece que le quiten el combate. Ojala hagan un rematch.

Quizás Sakuraba hubiera conseguido derribar a Akiyama si este no hubiera estado embadurnado, pero la verdad es que embadurnado o no Saku dio muy mala impresión en ese combate
Si Sakuraba derriba a Akiyama el combate hubiera sido totalmente diferente, Saku se arriesga en la pelea en pie pero como dicen x ahi abajo si utiliza su grappling es uno de los mejores. Y lo de q dio mala impresión...pues para mi no fue asi, se le vio con ganas y golpeando fuerte, pero si cada vez q vas a hacer una proyeccion(con el riesgo q eso supone) el otro se te escurre como una anguila, pues al final te caza...yo no vi superioridad de Akiyama en ningun momento.

Se tendría que repetir la pelea, pero si tuviera que apostar, volvería a apostar por Akiyama.

A ver, matizo mi frase "yo no vi superioridad de Akiyama en ningun momento", me refiero a q durante el combate, en el intercambio sakuraba lo estaba haciendo bien, y cuando veia la oportunidad intentaba la proyeccion, desgastandose fisicamente y exponiendose al peligro q eso supone, asta entonces el combate era muy parejo.
Otra cosa es el final del combate en el q Akiyama golpea a Saku, ahi si q hay superioridad de Akiyama. En esa situacion, no obstante, para mi hay dos aspectos q me parecen determinantes:
a) Saku no puede defender el ataque de akiyama xq al intentar luxar su pierna este se le resvala
b) Esa situacion final del combate no se hubiera dado(x lo menos no de ese modo) si akiyama no estubiera embadurnado, xq muy posiblemente la luxa hubiera ido al suelo y solo dios sabe lo q podria haber pasado.

Akiyama suspendido indefinidamente!
K-1 Event Producer Sadaharu Tanikawa announced today the indefinite suspension of Yoshihiro Akiyama.
Akiyama was found to have applied cream on his body before his K-1 Dynamite 2006 fight with Kazushi Sakuraba. Akiyama admitted he applied skin moisturizer for his dry skin, unaware that the substance was not allowed.
Akiyama has apologized and said he will accept any punishment K-1 chooses to give him.
Last week K-1 ruled the bout a no contest.

Sakuraba's Side of the Story
"Honestly, I could have forgotten about this problem but I really appreciate that FEG and the referees admitted their mistakes and responded to this matter properly.
I would also like to apologize to the sponsors and TV stations for this trouble also. I hope, this would be a turning point for FEG with sponsors and TV stations, to change MMA for the better.
These were the words of Kazushi Sakuraba at a K-1 Heros press conference held in Tokyo yesterday. There has been an unparalleled back-lash from the Japanese MMA fans and media following his K-1: Premium Dynamite 2006 loss to Yoshihiro Akiyama, where it seemed everybody heard Sakuraba complaining wildly to the Referee... Except the Referee!
Sakuraba says that he was suspicious on the referee?s conduct until he saw the fight on tape and admitted.
"Well, the way I protested, the timing was bad too. The referee had to follow the rules too, it can't be helped."
On the subject of the mystery glove, one reporter asked if Sakuraba thought it could have been loaded, to which Sakuraba quipped "Well I aint so smart up dere, so didn't feel nutin different."
K-1's Tanikawa said , "There is nothing in this issue. I checked the gloves and all videos after I heard about the rumours.

, para que entrenar tanti si con eso , nadie te hagarra, es mas hasta te lo podes empomar si se pone en mala posicion jaja....
