Aaron Marsa making a full recovery

This is just a quick update for those that attended Ultimate Combat 9: Rebellion and may be concerned for the wellbeing of the Spanish fighter, Aaron Marsa, who fought against James Thompson.

Aaron received an injury to his neck, which meant that he was unable to move his legs. The ringside medics and Red Cross officials in charge of the medical safety did an excellent job of looking after Aaron and administered oxygen to him, and moved him from the Octagon on a stretcher to the awaiting ambulance.

Aaron was checked fully at hospital and was discharged after only a couple of hours. Naturally, Aaron was still very shaken the incident, but was back on the road to recovery.

The injury was thought to occur due to a swelling in the neck/spine region, which temporarily cut off the feeling to his legs. But as the swelling went down, the sensations returned.

This is excellent news, and Combat Sports Promotions will be in constant contact with the S.H.O.O.T. Espana team to ensure that Aaron is making a full recovery.

Aaron Marsa sufrio durante la lucha una lesion en el cuello que le provoco una paralisis en las piernas. La gente se penso lo peor, pero parece que fue debido al traumatismo en la zona, y que cuando se bajo el hinchazon, empezo a recuperar la movilidad.
