Muy interesante comentario de Fred Ettish

"It looked like it would hurt to fight Orlando, even if you won. The man had no body fat. He was just blood, muscle, bone, and sinew. I think he was the only one there that was smaller than me, but he was all there.
What's it like being a part of MMA history? Well, if I had won UFC 2, went on to be a multi - time champion, opened a big school in Southern Cali or somewhere else nice, sold lots of instructional videos/CDs, been in demand on the seminar circuit, and after retiring from active fighting working as a commentator or somewhere else in this great sport, it would have been very cool.
On the other hand, if you are a part of history because you were one of the first to get your ass kicked really badly, had hair and a moustache that wasn't in style, then just faded into obscurity except for when people made fun of you or made some dumb - assed website mocking you, and were relegated to being just another passionate fan, it isn't all that. Even if I had put on a decent show commensurate with my abilities while losing it wouldn't have been so bad.
But all things happen for a reason and life goes on. I still love this sport and respect the hell out of everyone who participates in it and lays it on the line.
Respectfully:
Fred "
