These days the boys from Cro Cop team are training in full force. After a long break and highly demanding recovery process, Mirko Cro Cop is ready to fight in MMA again.

All problems with injuries are history and Cro Cop is very optimistic to start another chapter in his career:
„I feel great, the recovery process is going well and we train at high intensity now. I never had such a strong desire to prove myself and I'll climb up again, or die trying.“

Mirko's next fight is set for June 13th in Germany, which means that he's back in the UFC, a place that he didn't have his best moments:
„I decided to fight in the UFC again, because of the stronger competition in the heavyweight division. My next opponent will be Mustapha Al-Turk. I didn't do well in my first three appearances - I wasn't myself. By returning to the cage I want to prove that I can still fight at highest level, no matter when or where.“, claims Cro Cop.

UFC 99 will be Cro Cop's first fight this year with the possibility of three fights coming by years end.
„It's hard to talk about concrete plans, but I would really like to fight at least three times this year. I wish to fight against quality opponents and to fight my way up to a title shot but for now, I'll focus only on my next fight and after that we'll see what's going to be on the menu next“, says Cro Cop.
Although the UFC 99 card looks stacked, it seems that the UFC officials can see the benefits of hiring a top European fighter for their first ever UFC show in Germany.

„I want to say thank you Mr. Dana White for your interest and for an invitation back to the UFC. I owe you a lot from our first deal, and I'll make it up to you.“, promises Cro Cop.

si vuelve para hacerlo como en sus ultimos combates mejor que se quede en casa, ni si quiera cambiando la jaula por el ring lo ha estado haciendo medianamente bien (contra overeem).

Era bastante bueno y además es un tio majo jajaja

Me cae bien y me gusta bastante, pero se ha de admitir que su entrada en UFC fue muy triste... su estilo se vió completamente obsoleto.
Espero que su entreno en greco y en suelo salgan a la luz. Pero vaya, que cuando luchadores tienen una curva tan negativa, pinta mal, y más a a ciertas edades... (vease liddel, saku, wand y alguno más).

Por otro lado su contrincante queda muy lejos de cualquier top10, incluso top100 xD, a ver como acaba la cosa. Como pierda, se acabó Crocop.

El mirko de hace unos años no vele para luchar con reglas ufc, no le favorecen su juego y no supo reciclarse, ojala ahora lo haya echo.

Por otro lado su contrincante queda muy lejos de cualquier top10, incluso top100 xD

Despues de sus fiascos es lo logico, y seguro que el lo ve con muy buenos ojos

a mi m da alegria recuerdo esos dos combates suyos con wanderlei...............uffffff en k1................para mi crocop es mas d k1 q d Ufc pero bueno habrá q ver....

Siempre fue unos de mis favoritos mientras estaba en el Pride, por su estilo distinto, evitar el suelo a toda costa y crujir a la peña a base de patadas a la cabeza, pero siempre ha sido devil mentalmente en mi opinion, te lo podias ver contra Wanderlei haciendo unos combatazos y mentalizado al 100 % o contra gente de nivel medio o bajo haciendo combates malisismos en los que pareciera que tenia la mente en otro sitio, creo que es mas mental que otra cosa, creo que nivel tiene mas que suficiente para estar entre lo mejor de los pesos pesados del UFC, joder este tio peleo contra Fedor durante todo un combate haciendolo bastante bien y aguantando un combate entero, y no creo que haya nadie mejor que Fedor en UFC ni en ningun lado.
