Valeriy Riazanov is born in Russia and started his training from the age of 9. For 5 years he was a member of Russian Olympic Judo squad as well as a member of Russian International Sambo team. From the age of 18 he spent a number of years in KGB special operation unit and was involved in special assignments and covert operations. While serving in Army he was in elite KGB tactical unit called “Rex” and was instructor of Combat Sambo for MVD special operation unit “OMON “. He had twice won a tournament in Sambo and hand to hand fighting (known as a Combat Sambo) amongst KGB regiment of USSR. Valeriy moved to London in 1993 and after meeting Michael Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev , exclusively teaches the System.
